She has served on the junior board of every major art museum in the New York City. She regularly attends major domestic and international charity benefits, fairs, biennials, and auctions.

Performance

With a personal passion for performance, Alix Holloway enthusiastically attends dance performances weekly at some of NYC’s largest theaters and some of the city’s smallest. She invites cross-disciplinary collaborations at every opportunity and has hosted a number of performances, including Hivewild’s one-night only showcases of INBLUE and PATHX.

Alix currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Hivewild dance company. She is also a founding member of the Joyce Theater’s Young Leadership Council, where she has served as the Co-Chair for the last 8 years, during which time the membership has more than doubled. Her commitment to the Joyce Theater also extends to serving on the Development Committee under the Board of Trustees.

Inspired by the history and mission of the Foundation for Contemporary Arts (her first philanthropic foray into the NYC performance and visual arts communities), Alix believes in carrying forward the values they set forth of supporting and creating opportunities for artists, by artists and art workers across disciplines to the next generation.
